184. Where is the best place to pray?

Jesus, our example, shows us the solitude of the small quiet room or the circle of those with whom we can pray together in the name of Jesus. There is a special promise for joint prayer.

• But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (Matthew 6:6)
• If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:19-20)
