55. Does the sixth commandment only speak about murder?

God exposes the causes of murder – envy, hatred, anger and vindictiveness – and equates them with murder.

• You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbour, and not bear sin because of him. (Leviticus 19:17)
• Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1 John 3:15)
