6. How does God especially make Himself known to man?
God especially makes Himself known:
- in His Word;
- in His Son, Jesus Christ.
- Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 1:2)
- God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son. (Hebrews 1:1-2)
- “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Mark 9:7)
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
- He who has seen Me has seen the Father. (John 14:9)
