67. Who redeems lost sinners?

Our redemption comes from God, Whose commandments we transgress and against Whom we have sinned.

• For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
• Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live? (Ezekiel 18:23)
• I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
• God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4)
